Approved posts publish themselves

Approval is where most tools stop and the copy-paste begins. Here the approved post is the post that publishes, to the client’s own accounts, at the time on the calendar.

Publishing
  • Each client connects their own accounts — no shared logins
  • Retries never double-post to a network that already succeeded
  • Optional first comment, posted right after the post goes live

Only approved posts publish

A post has to be approved before it can go out. There is no path from draft to live that skips the client, so what publishes is always the version someone signed off — not a copy retyped into each network, where typos and wrong images creep in.

If an approval window is set and a post is still undecided when it closes, it expires instead of publishing. Nothing goes out unreviewed because a deadline passed.

How a post gets published

  1. 01The client’s accounts are connected once, through each network’s own sign-in
  2. 02The post is approved and sits on the calendar at its time
  3. 03At that time it publishes to each network with that network’s caption and media
  4. 04Each network’s result is recorded separately — published, or why not
  5. 05If there is a first comment, it is posted straight after

Each client’s accounts, kept separate

Every client workspace connects its own Pages, profiles and channels through each network’s official sign-in. Access tokens are encrypted before they are stored, and nobody at the agency ever handles a client’s password.

Network connections are rolling out one network at a time as each platform completes its app review.

What goes out

  • The caption for that network — shared, or the one written for it
  • The media in the order it was arranged, up to the number the network takes
  • A location, and Instagram collaborators, when the post has them
  • A first comment, if one was written

Every post is checked against each network’s limits before it can even be sent for review, so a post that reaches publishing is one the network will accept. The post limits guide lists those rules.

Safe to retry

Publishing is tracked per network. If Instagram succeeds and LinkedIn fails, retrying only tries LinkedIn again — the post can never go out twice on the network that already worked. Temporary errors are retried automatically; permanent ones are explained in plain words.

First comments

Add a first comment — the hashtags, the link, the credit — and it is posted straight after the post itself. If the comment fails, the post stays live and you get a warning rather than a failed publish, because a failed publish would invite a retry that posts everything twice.

Networks by plan

The Free plan publishes to Facebook and Instagram. Pro and Agency add X, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube. Reconnecting an account that has expired always works, whatever the plan — a lapsed login shouldn’t lock a client out of their own schedule.

FAQ

Publishing, answered

Do approved posts publish automatically?

Yes, once the client’s accounts are connected: approved posts go out at their scheduled time.

What if one network fails?

The others still publish. Retrying only re-attempts the network that failed, so nothing is ever posted twice.

Can a post publish without being approved?

No. Only approved posts publish. If an approval window closes before anyone decides, the post expires rather than going out.

Do I need my client’s passwords?

No. Each account connects through the network’s own sign-in, and the access it grants is stored encrypted.
